5 ½ Octave Celesta Instrument Compact

Like all Schiedmayer celestas, the “Compact” model is characterized by its richness of sound and versatility. Smooth glissandi, long scales, dreamy melodies or isolated soft notes complement each other for a purely pleasurable musical experience. Here, unlike the 5 ½ Octave Model “Studio”, attention is paid to the compact arrangement of the sound plates over each other (superposed) to form a slimmer celesta instrument which requires less space, without losing the clarity of the celesta’s vibrant and bell-like sound quality.

Due to its slender design, the celesta is ideal for use in classical, contemporary and pop music as well as in recording studios, broadcasting studios and especially in small orchestra pits.
