| The sound is produced by felted
hammers which hit resonant steel plates. Each individual steel plate has
ist own damper and wooden resonator. By using the pedal all dampers raise
so that the continuing vibration produces a full sound with each key.
Basically the Celesta should be regulated from time to time just like an other musical instrument. Following steps are to be done: |
